With growing global concerns around COVID-19 (“coronavirus”), we wanted to reassure our customers of our team’s commitment to the health, safety and well-being of our employees and guests. This is always our top priority at Deepdale and we are dedicated to providing a comfortable and safe environment in both our Garden Centre and Café.
First and foremost, we want to assure our customers that we are taking all appropriate measures to safeguard our premises and that we have existing hygiene and training protocols in place to ensure they stay that way.
Our café has a 5-star rating and in addition to our existing, stringent food safety and hygiene practices we have implemented further measures to ensure your safety as well as the safety of our team, including:
- Introducing enhanced cleaning protocols, with particular focus on high traffic and high contact areas. Coronaviruses are easily eliminated by routine surface cleaning and the cleaning products we use are (and always have been) industrial-grade and food service approved.
- Increasing communications and reminders with our guests, suppliers and employees on important health and safety measures.
- Providing anti-bacterial soap in our toilets and hand sanitizer dispensers around our premises for the use of our customers. We strongly encourage the use of both of these during your visit.
- Removing tables from our café to create distance and space.
To protect yourself and others, we ask that anyone who is feeling unwell refrain from visiting us so that together we can ensure a safe and comfortable experience for everyone.
